Petroplan are assisting a client of ours with their search for a Marine Superintendent to join in office/site/offshore on a long term basis. The client is a tier 2 EPC operating within both O&G and renewables. They have offices in across Europe and the Globe along with a state of the art fleet supporting all the supermajors.
As such we are recruiting for a Vessel Superintendent with a wealth of industry experience. The role will involve contributing continued improvement of the maintenance system by providing feedback to the MMS team and reporting vessel technical status on weekly basis to the Operation Manager.
You must be able to commit to a flexible working structure and commit to site and vessel visits as you will be the onshore contact point for the Vessels in the day-to-day operation when related to technical management and mobilization activities.
Location: Aberdeen / Global
Salary: D.O.E
Core Competencies/Requirements:
MSc/BSc within Maritime studies (Marine/Machinery/Navigation) or experience as Chief Engineer or Master
Ability to actively cooperate with other disciplines within the fleet to optimize overall vessel and fleet performance.
Track record of working with Vessels within the offshore energy industry.
