Quality in the automotive sector has and always will be of paramount importance. As a technician you’ll have a full appreciation of this and have the highest possible standards in your approach to this role.

You’ll be working on modern era vehicles predominantly, which includes routine service work, fault finding and general day to day maintenance. You’ll also carry out bespoke restoration works on older vehicles, support the busy bodyshop when required and also prepare vehicles for the specialist sales showroom. No two days are the same, so you’ll have plenty of variety to keep you interested.

We’re looking for someone who is highly competent and confident in working on a range of vehicles, ideally with a relevant qualification to support this. You’ll be capable of routine service work, suspension work, cambelt services and clutch changes, as well as fault resolution through workshop diagnostics.

Additionally, you’ll be able to work to a very high level of cleanliness within the workshop environment with a willingness to learn. Over and above this you will have the innate ability to work as a team member and follow instruction as well as being a great communicator.

The salary is on at £40,000 to £45,000 DOE. There’s 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and pension. Working hours are 8:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
