My client is a trade supplier to the live event, exhibition and television industries. They provide both design and technical services to prestige events and productions across UK & Europe. They are expertise spans design services, lightning, audio, video.They’re hiring a Live Audio Engineer to work on diverse projects. The ideal candidate should have strong audio engineering skills, knowledge of technology and best practices, and familiarity with acoustic principles, digital mixing consoles, and RF deployment. Proficiency in production techniques, IT, rigging, power distribution, and data distribution is crucial. Being enthusiastic, a good communicator, and client-focused is important, along with a commitment to continuous learning and high-quality work. The job may involve flexible working hours due to the nature of live events. The responsibilities outlined are for a role that involves representing a company in engineering teams, particularly in the context of delivering technical solutions. Here are the key responsibilities: 1. Represent the company on-site as part of engineering teams, ensuring high-quality technical solutions. 2. Install and deploy professional audio equipment according to plans and briefs. 3. Mix live shows, including spoken word and live music. 4. Provide pre-production support and advice on audio system design, networking, and RF planning. 5. Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project requirements, briefs, and deadlines. 6. Share expertise to help develop and mentor other staff members. 7. Assist Warehouse Teams and Operations Team in equipment preparation. 8. Offer technical guidance and recommend new equipment investments. 9. Embrace creative problem-solving and adapt to changing circumstances swiftly and continuously learn and enhance technical and interpersonal skills. 10. Communicate with clients on-site to meet their expectations. 11. Build positive relationships with venues to ensure project delivery within specified parameters. 12. Stay updated on evolving trends and technologies in audio, lighting, video, and staging. 13. Maintain a professional appearance when interacting with clients. 14. Promote and adhere to best practices in Health & Safety. 15. Follow LPFS (presumably company-specific) protocols and procedures. 16. Maintain a positive and proactive attitude towards challenges. 17. Support the Senior Leadership Team in process and procedure improvement. 18. Undertake other reasonable tasks as requested.
