WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are recruiting for a Senior Supply Chain Professional to work within the Supply Chain Team overseeing the end to end Supply Chain process, warehouse volumes and unique project requirements for our major programmes. Development and deployment of key supply chain strategies in support of manufacturing during pre-production and production phases Key interface with our logistics providers and key stakeholders to develop the inbound/outbound delivery process to consolidated shipments wherever possible to enable cost savings Maintaining system integrity whilst adopting standard processes and ensuring compliance Position Duties and Responsibilities Study, understand and manage the inbound supply base to ensure timely delivery of programme materials and supporting documentation. Co-ordinate the receipt, packing and lineside delivery to the required timescales and in accordance with the quality, legal and regulatory standards Responsible for the planning and maintenance of integrated schedules for the warehouse ensuring the timely release of kits and management of material shortages from recept to line Working with the Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to maximise performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators Deputise for the Supply Chain Manager providing strong and structured leadership to existing teams members. Manage and track the impact of Engineering Changes and Non-Conformances To carry out weekly comparisons and updates of the registers, collate support statistics and metrics and to furnish monthly reports on the material state of each project as required. Schedule and support PI counts in line with current business processes and manage discrepancy invstigations Interrogate SAP to identify surplus, slow moving and general inventory projections reporting findings on a monthly basis to the Supply Chain Manager Any other duties or responsibilities that may be deemed necessary by the business, and commensurate with the grade abilities. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE Experience of managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ability to address conflicting requirements and priorities and dealing with escalations Be competent with MS Office suite and have a good understanding of ERP Systems (SAP) An understanding of Export requirements, including hazardous materials and Controlled Products (ITAR, EAR, Section 5 etc) Understanding of factors which may impact on material delivery (Shelf Life, Hazard Codes, Magnetic influence, test certificates, etc).WHAT WE OFFER YOU We want RBSL to be an employer of choice and for our employees to build a career they can be proud of with us.
