Senior Node Developer

Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum

Role Overview:

Explore Group are closely working with a reputable supply & logistics company who are seeking an experienced Senior Node Developer to join their UK team. In this position you will play a pivotal role in building a new application that will optimise their analysis efforts and make their data management more efficient. You will be responsible for developing and optimising their application, creating efficient stored procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain their application using Node to support our logistics and supply chain operations.
• Develop and optimise complex stored procedures to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to implement data solutions.
• Utilise Node.js to interface with the SQL Server databases and extend our technology stack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Continuously monitor and enhance database performance and security.

Role Requirements:

• 5 years + of experience as a Node Developer.
• Proficiency in SQL Server database design and development.
• Strong experience in building and optimising complex stored procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote work environment.
