A varied leadership role, with the primary focus being on operational excellence and account management through the effective management of event logistics of pipeline of events, and managing accounts, while mentoring wider the project team. Key facts & figures of the role: Key accountabilities Manage and oversee own pipeline of large events and own accounts. Manage multiple event timelines and projects simultaneously, while managing Project Manager s, Project Executive s, and Senior Project Executives. Provide full and effective leadership and line management of the team, training, supporting, coaching, and inspiring them to fulfil their full potential – Project Executive, Senior Project Executive, Project Managers. Project Lead on large scale events throughout the full event lifecycle, with full support of the team as required, including on-site delivery. To oversee and act as the main point of contact with clients and stakeholders, to build relationships on both live project updates and future opportunities to increase income, drive engagement and lead in delivering improved customer satisfaction. Manage client handling and direction on new business with support of Head of Events. Monitor customer satisfaction post sale and ensure a high level of customer service is achieved internally. Responsible for finance (CRM) and to ensure regular checks and accuracy. Escalation point for Team members, crisis management, providing solutions to clients, problem solving and act as key point of contact for the wider team. Work closely with the Director s to implement and facilitate strategic opportunities that have been identified (new and existing clients). Business Proposal and client pitches for event work. Responsible for budget control and review for all owned projects ensuring the cost sheet is completed for large scale projects. To lead and conduct one-to-one meetings and appraisals with the events team and manage performance of team in line with business processes. Develop and implement improvements in workflows. Able to manage accounts and oversee account insight for team. Implement company business goals into team and manage performance. Contribute to the development of Inconnection strategic objectives. Achieve revenue targets and regularly report on revenue and expenditure for team. Work closely with the Directors on Event Strategy to drive pipeline. Develop and maintain all event processes and best practices. On Site event management To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work To perform any reasonable request from supervisors/Manager To work flexibly across other areas of the business on different tasks when the business requires Comply with company policy in relation to Health and Safety, security, and confidentiality.
