UNCE/Europe Supply Chain Director
Job Family – Delivery
Key Interfaces – Regional Management, Customers, Industry Bodies, Regional Functional leaders, MOPs, Regional MOPs, Project Directors/Project Managers, Global Project Delivery group.
Role purpose – Lead Project and Corporate Supply Chain Services (Procurement, Subcontract management, Logistics management) activities across the UNCE and mainland Europe regions. Identify and develop talent, processes, and systems to support the continuous development success of the business through robust, measured, and engaging tools.
Key accountabilities
Support consistent and predictable project performance across operating units through the provision of talent and tools to ensure assured delivery.
Actively engages/supports/develop UNCE/Europe regional projects in collaboration with regional management needs
Engages in strategy, key accounts, pursuits, and proposals for business
Lead roll-out and compliance of standard operating tools and systems
Support project reporting, analytics, and planning
Actively participates in team selection/appointment of key resources and drives diversity and talent development
Mentoring and development of senior and high potential team members across the region. Engage with and lead SCM jointly executed activities between UNCE and Europe. Drive corporate SCM initiatives in to UNCE and Europe.
Metrics & KPIs
Support performance of contract & projects –
GM, DSO, Safety, etc. – through increased Automation, GID, and Digital improvements Customer Satisfaction
Lead development of unique Supply Chain Development digital solutions and tools
Experience of successfully leading and developing teams/departments
Network of high-level key client contacts and industry bodies and ability to enhance customer relationships
Strong commercial acumen and experience in all commercial contracting models/risk profiles and project scopes/phases (FEL/EPC/EPCM & Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc.)
Motivational leadership style and strong communication skills with ability to develop high performance culture
Ability to mitigate risks effectively through positive decision making
Number of Direct Reports (if known/estimate).
