Senior Business Translator/Supply Chain/Planning/Network Design/Customer Supply/Manufacturing/Data Analysis/SAP/JDA/Kinaxis/Agile methodologies/6 months/£300-£350 per day Inside IR35/Hybrid Role

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Senior Business Translator to ensure that validated business ‘need’ in respect of data & analytics is scoped & then executed successfully to the right business outcome.

Location – Hybrid – once a week visit to London

Duration – 6 months

Rate – £300-£350 per day Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business need
• Translate business need into scope that can be used to engage technical teams
• Bring the right business & technical capabilities together to ensure an outcome
• Manage communication upward – technical & business – in support of projects
• Act as an escalation point
• Work as part of the Supply data & analytics LT to manage overall portfolio execution & prioritization
• Develop and maintain key relationships across company and be close enough to the processes in order to be able to understand how to support and improve the development of the work from their portfolio
• Educate leadership and broader organization on the possibilities of new data sets and technologies
• Line management
• Management of third-party resource

Experience required for the role:

• At least 8-10 years of experience across at least 2 supply chain disciplines (planning, network design, transportation/warehouse, customer supply, manufacturing)
• Good and varied experience in data analysis, data modelling & Front End tools
• Experience working with SAP & JDA (Kinaxis is an advantage) and underlying tables/technical fields
• Ability to bring together the requisite business & technical capabilities to drive to an outcome
• Excellent story telling with Data skills so they can engage the business with the results from their team and support their team in impacting the business through the application of Data & Analytics
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to coach and engage with business stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills both to business and development/technical teams
