42 hours per week working 12 hour shifts on a rolling roster of 4 on, 4 off (days & nights)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Warehouse & Distribution Security Officer who will work at our client’s premises within Wellingborough, NN8.
You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.
We require Officers to be SIA licenced – Security Guarding/Door Supervision
DUTIES AS A SECURITY OFFICER
Ensure the safety of all staff and visitors on site
Gatehouse duties including access and egress controls
Protect client property
Liaise with the Police and other emergency services
Report/incident writing
Staff and vehicle searches’
To use sound judgement and good interpersonal skills when dealing with members of the public and on-site personnel
To support, promote and protect the business needs of the client
Follow Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments
Follow client processes and protocols whilst on duty
JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS
SIA Licence – Security Guarding/Door Supervision
Previous experience in the security industry is an advantage
Be physically fit and patrol effectively by foot
Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
High standards of both punctuality and attendance
