WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Given its key functionality the three Application Support Analyst roles are key to the smooth running of the business and continual service improvement. The wide scope means each analyst takes on particular areas to act as the interface between the business function and IM&T, to ensure that the core processes are understood and deliver value to the functions. The role also supports the strategic move to the Global Rheinmetall processes on their SAP S4 HANA solution. This role is for Application Support Functional Analyst ‘SAP Engineer to Produce’, an IT process specialist focused on the controlling & manufacturing functions of the business. Position Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring the SAP Process supporting the Manufacturing processes are able to effectively support the Manufacturing, Logistics and Quality Business processes. Work with the business areas, Enterprise & Business Applications Lead and IT Architect to help map out future functionality roadmaps (with Rheinmetall IT and Global process owners for the move to the Global S4 HANA solution). Providing insight and opportunities for improvement, gathering requirements to feed into Service Design work Ensure that change is impact assessed, documented, tested and effectively delivered in collaboration with the process owners, in accordance with RBSL ITSM policies Assist with access management Triage incidents raised by users Act as the Design Authority for in Scope Processes Develop and ensure compliance with SAP technical standards, security, processes and procedures Work with process and data owners to develop KPI’s and Metrics that highlight system usage, Provide insight to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement, such as enhancing business processes, reducing time & cost, and increasing overall effectiveness Work with the other analysts and the Enterprise and Business Applications Lead to introduce a Governance Framework to control the development and introduction of SAP change Act as interface between the functional Process Specialists, Key Users, IT and 3rd parties Help and review with the creation of training, product, and solution documentation, including training the Process Owners on relevant SAP functionality Produce and Maintain SAP Transaction guides library, utilising Central Template content and producing local RBSL content Work with the RBSL Service Delivery team to ensure customer satisfaction and ITSM processes are correctly followed Present changes and provide subject matter advise to the Technical Design Authority as required During development of the Rheinmetall Global SAP S4 HANA solution, work with local process owners and Rheinmetall global process owners to analyse and provide assistance on how to handle deviations between local and global processes Provide support of non-SAP applications associated with your business function (including, but not limited to assisting in associated ITIL management processes of Incident, Problem, Request and knowledge) Planning and undertaking testingWHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE 2+ years of experience in ERP application support role or similar SAP ECC6 experience in relevant modules (ideally SAP S4 HANA as well) Experience of understanding business processes in the context of IT solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience working with service management tools, such as ServiceNow Knowledge of ITIL or other service delivery frameworks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
