Do you think you can make a difference to a child s life?
We are looking for candidates that are passionate about working with children who have a range of transferable skills, knowledge and experience, who are creative and child-centred in their approaches and values. Ideally, you will have experience of working with children with complex needs and vulnerabilities who require committed, nurturing and consistent adults to care for them and keep them safe. Across the care and education environment, we recognise that both physical and emotional safety, alongside trusted attachments with adults who can understand and contain the emotional experiences our children face, paves the way for further development, growth and ultimately resilience to face the future and achieve their potential.
Our staff team are our greatest asset, so we are looking for the right kind of person to join our supportive community. It is desirable that you are qualified to HNC level with SVQ 3, or willing to work towards these qualifications, a sound understanding of attachment theory and the impact of developmental trauma would also be an advantage. A number of our staff are trained in Diadic Developmental Psychotherapy, which sits alongside and compliments the theoretical underpinning of our philosophy. Access to this training will be available for the successful candidates in addition to a number of training opportunities that will enhance your practice, and career development.

Our night-care workers have a working pattern of four shifts (9pm to 8am) on, followed by four days off. The post-holder will provide support to the evening team by assisting in the routines, helping the young people feel safe and secure, and ensuring they settle for the night.
