Reservations Accounting Representative

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Reservations Accounting Representative who will be responsible and accountable for all financial and accounting related activities within Seabourn and Holland America Line.

For at least two days a week, you’ll be based out of our fantastic offices in the heart of Southampton, less than two hours from central London. In our hybrid working environment, you can also expect to balance this with time spent working remotely every week.

The Role

The Reservations Accounting Representative is an exciting and varied role where you will be responsible and accountable for all financial and accounting related activities within Seabourn and Holland America Line and work as an extension to the HAL/SBN Reservations Team.

• Receiving and responding to in-bound accounting calls and emails, providing genuine and intuitive service that delights our Travel Partners and Consumers.
• Taking general Reservations calls as and when required, providing genuine and intuitive service that delights our Travel Partners and Consumers.
• Identifying potential risks and other anecdotal information in area & escalating to management in a timely manner.
• Building and maintaining relationships with all trade and consumer customers by having exceptional conversations, being the voice of Holland America & Seabourn

About You

As a successful Reservations Accounting Representative, you will have an analytical mind and be able to solve problems in a thorough and logical way. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be PC literate with good working knowledge of using Excel spreadsheets. Working knowledge of the Polar reservations system is a must!

Whilst not essential, you will ideally have an Accounting/Finance related qualification and a background in Accounting/Finance. Cruise industry experience and Airline GDS knowledge, such as Sabre would be advantageous in this role.
