Electrician required. Our client has been providing buildings support to local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector clients for over 40 years.

Successful candidates will be fully qualified electricians with experience on an installation basis, ideally with experience on Solar PV, Batteries, Hear pumps and other renewable technologies.

Electrician – Renewables Position Overview

• Responsible for the wiring and connection of new, dedicated circuits for connection of solar photovoltaic panels and battery storage.
• Work will involve the installation of a new distribution board connected to the supply tails, running of SWA, T&E or tough-flex cables, the physical mounting of the inverters and batteries, commissioning, and the connection of the system to the manufacturers monitoring portal.
• There may be multiple batteries to connect to each system.
• May also be required to connect secondary systems such as heat pumps and/or water heating devices.

Electrician – Renewables Position Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a similar role
• The ability to follow technical drawings, building plans and wiring diagrams
• Experience of electrical fault diagnostics and installation works
• Knowledge of IEE Regulations
• Asbestos awareness training advantageous
• Have knowledge of the risk assessment process
• City and Guilds 2360-1 or Level 3 NVQ
• AM2 highly desired
• C&G 2391, 2394/5 or equivalent
• Full UK Driving licence
• 18th Edition qualified

Electrician- Renewables Position Remuneration

• Salary: £35,000- £42,000
• Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours a week.
• Holiday Package: 21 days + 8BH increasing based on service
