Your Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Flint Mill reliability team and systems. As our Reliability Leader, you will develop and implement a preventive / predictive maintenance program, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Leading the reliability team, you will provide direction to ensure consistency across all maintenance areas in the Flint Mill, setting targets to improve the asset reliability performance. You will also network with others in the maintenance community to develop and implement common maintenance management processes, information systems and techniques.
In addition to your day-to-day role, you will lead the development of, and continually upgrade mill reliability systems, supporting the pre-down planning and post down review process to drive continuous improvement.

About You
As Reliability Engineer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
Ensuring standardisation of safe engineering practices across all asset areas within the mill, ensuring equipment compliance and promoting safety best practice.
Effective management of all maintenance processes and activities to maximise equipment reliability.
Leading the development and execution of a reliability strategy based on Asset criticality.
Management of all maintenance spend against identified budget targets.
Leading the development and execution of a reliability strategy based on Asset criticality.
Ownership of effective planning, scheduling & execution of all maintenance shutdown periods.
Leading the implementation of the site maintenance strategy approach within Flint mill and encourage the use of the identified best practices.
Continuously assessing the effectiveness of the reliability strategy by measuring performance against identified KPIs.
Interacting with stores leadership to ensure availability of spare parts and materials consistent with equipment reliability objectives, whilst minimising inventory investment and operating costs.
What you’ll need
The successful candidate will have ;
A minimum HND degree level, ideally degree level in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience of implementing Reliability/ Maintenance improvement programs.
Significant engineering experience.
