Production Operative required for a manufacturing company in in Yate, near Bristol – BS37

• £10.50 an hour
• Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm
• Half an hour for lunch break (unpaid) and two paid tea breaks (morning and afternoon)
• Free parking on site
• Accessible by bus Y1 / 84 / 85 / 86
• Adjacent to Yate train station
• Full training provided

After probation period you will be entitled to

About the job

• Manual handling of laundry bags
• Inspecting garments after they have been laundered
• Deciding if the garments are “fit for purpose” or needs repairing
• Completing accompanying paperwork.
• Inspecting garments after their sewing repair
• Signing off that the garments are “fit for purpose”

The right candidate

• A good eye for detail
• Basic PC understanding
• Previous experience in a similar role such as production, warehouse, factory, manufacturing, retail
