Production Operative – Permanent – Near Maldon – £21,682 per annum

Own transport essential due to location

Do you have previous warehouse or production experience or are keen to start your career in this area? We are looking for applicants to join our local client within their production team supporting with the manufacture of high quality products. You will be responsible for monitoring the quality of products, labeling and packaging goods for dispatch, working from job sheets and using hand tools to finish products.

Role responsibilities:

• Prepare order in accordance with the job sheet;
• Quality control throughout production, notifying necessary person of any issues
• Label and allocate space to finished product as per job sheet
• Complete required paperwork and quality sheets after each production run
• Using hand tools to finish product
• Stock movement within the warehouse
• Keeping work space clean and tidy and ensure you are adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

Skills/experience:

• Background in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
• A desire to work in a focused environment towards deadlines
• Ability to adapt to varied tasks
• Good communication skills

Other informationHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:15 to 15:45 with a 30 minute break28 days’ holiday including statutory with incremental increases after 2 years’ service to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years + statutoryContributory Pension SchemeDiscretionary annual bonus scheme
