Our client is the UK’s fastest-growing Warehouse Management System provider, revolutionizing the way software solutions are delivered into the warehouse directly from the cloud. They have a start-up-like feel that’s disrupting the legacy WMS market with a SaaS model.

What we’re looking for:

Our client is seeking a self-motivated and passionate product owner with commercial experience of operating agile software development methodology within a distributed engineering team. Your role will entail managing the product backlog, creating user stories, orchestrating agile meetings (i.e., sprint planning, story pointing, and retrospective sessions), and tracking progress and delivery of product features and fixes. You will work closely with the engineering team and collaborate with stakeholders to execute the vision of the product and ensure the needs of the customer are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product backlog.
• Prioritize and organize the list of requirements for future product development.
• Develop user stories, and breakdown epics and features into smaller tasks.
• Track progress of tasks, the sprint, and deployments and inform the connected areas of the business.
• Orchestrate agile meetings including sprint planning, story-pointing, and retrospectives.
• Answer questions from development, support, or solutions teams regarding customer needs, features, and tasks.
• Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, support, and solutions to ensure the right customer problem is solved.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of the product.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodology.
• Working knowledge of product development architecture.
• Ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.

Preferred

• Experience in the ownership of a Software as a Service (SaaS) product.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems or logistics industry.
• Experience with issue tracking software.
