Job Title: Product Line Engineer

Location: Aberdeen, UK

Salary: upto £40k per annum + 10%EIP

iO Associates has partnered with an innovative and technology solutions company to hire a Product Line Engineer to join their team in Aberdeen, UK. They developed innovative and quality technologies enabling clients to maximise production across the full spectrum of conventional and unconventional reservoirs.

You’ll be responsible for :

Responsibilities:

• Work with Quality team on continuous improvement of testing standards and reporting
• Work closely with logistics and workshop to ensure on time delivery of equipment to the client
• Implementation and coordination of testing standards in preparation for regional testing facility role out
• Training of other global team members and regional staff with the tools and any required standards for testing of PulseEight Tools and associated equipment.
• Ensure documentation is well maintained and up to date for the product line with adequate traceability.
• Point of contact for explaining tool trigger design and testing of functions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with digital development team to provide innovative solutions for repeatability in testing globally. Looking at streamlining and surveillance of testing in other regions.
• Develop alongside Product Champion in preparation for jobs and client discussion with the opportunity to learn more about the product and its features and benefits.
• To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and the Environment;
• To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments.
• To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the company’s Quality or HSE Management Systems.
• Ensure all testing conducted on tools is as per process and highlight inefficiencies ensuring continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Degree, or equivalent competence in relevant oilfield engineering discipline
• Strong technical background
• Electro-mechanical experience
• Petroleum Operations knowledge
• Excellent Project Management skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office packages
• Preparation of technical documentation
• Good problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
