Job Description: We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team on our ReNew project at Wilton.

As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems critical to the operation of our facility during this maintenance period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipe Installation: Measure, cut, thread, and weld pipes according to specifications.
• Assembly and Disassembly: Assist in the assembly and disassembly of piping systems and associated equipment.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on pipes, valves, and fittings to ensure their proper functioning.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and address pipe-related issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of pipefitting activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Skills / Qualifications

  Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial setting, preferably within the petrochemical, oil and gas, or manufacturing industries.
  • Evidence of time served apprenticeship
  • NVQ Qualification
  • Knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.

  Requirements:

  • Valid pipefitting trade qualification or equivalent.
  • Safety certifications – CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed during the shutdown.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
