Job Title: Parking Attendant Location: TauntonSalary: £10.00 an hour, increasing after 3-6 month training.Hours: Full time.We are looking for 2 people to work 4 on 4 off 7am-7pm & we are looking for 1 person to work 4 on 4 off nights 7pm-7amOur very well established client in Taunton is currently looking for a Parking Attendant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

We’re looking for a new member of staff to complement our dedicated team. You will be working 4 shifts on and then 4 shifts off. Sounds great, doesn’t it? This will give you plenty of time to enjoy a great work/life balance. There can be opportunities to work overtime in our business, and flexibility is key in this role as our business needs can sometimes change rapidly.

The duties of this role will mainly include patrolling the car park, cleaning the car park including litter picking, deck cleaning, cobwebbing and general housekeeping, operating car parking equipment when needed, monitoring activity around the sites and helping our customers.

Main duties include:

• Providing excellent customer service to our customers
• Cleaning the car park including undertaking litter picks and cob webbing as well as using machinery to ensure the surfaces are kept to our high standards
• Walking around the car park carrying out regular patrols to ensure the safety of our customers
• Working hard to ensure our car park is clean and safe in order to reach required health and safety standards
• Completing all paperwork and computer based tasks accurately and on time
• Ensuring all car park and office equipment is working and repairing faulty equipment when needed
• Undertake any other tasks as appropriate to meet Company requirements

Skills & experience required

• Have a flexible can-do attitude to work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to use Computers with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
