UCH Logistics is a dynamic, customer focused provider of specialist transport services to the airfreight industry. We operate from three sites at Heathrow with our head office located in Colnbrook, where we maintain a large and modern fleet of vehicles.

We are seeking additional Owner Drivers to join our fantastic new Express Division.

You will be responsible for delivering and collecting time critical shipments from locations all over the UK. The majority of our freight is on pallets, or in boxes, not small packages.

In addition to great driving abilities you should enjoy physical work, possess great customer service skills and be able to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the business.

Express Division drivers are often under pressure to meet delivery deadlines. You must be able to plan your routes effectively and manage time wisely in order to meet these deadlines.

We are offering a generous rate of pay, our current drivers earn between £1,000 – £2,000 per week.

PAY RATE

• 62% per Job booking
• % Uplift for bookings taken between 19:00-07:00 Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday
• Weekly pay

• Accurate, in-house self invoicing system to ensure timely payments
• Possibility for regular daily area runs

REQUIREMENTS

• Your vehicle should be a long wheelbase sprinter, ideally be no more than 5 years old. It needs to be in good overall condition and should meet Euro 6 emission standards. Smaller vehicles will be considered.

• Your self-paid insurance should cover the following:

  Goods in Transit up to £25,000

  Public Liability with minimum cover of £250,000

• Be flexible to meet the demands of the business
• Have great communication skills

A full 5-year checkable background and the appropriate Right to Work Share Codes will be required.
