Overhead Crane Operator

An Overhead Crane Operator is required for a large, well-established Steel Processing company in the Aston area of Birmingham. This is a temp to perm role, with long-term opportunities and career progression available for the right candidate.

Tasks and duties you will train for will include:

• Operating overhead cranes with various attachments (c-hook, slings etc.) to move different types of steel
• Loading / unloading vehicles and assisting with loading / offloading steel onto machine lines
• Banding, packing and palletising stock on the back end of the machines
• Using the in house computer system to record stock data

The position will be working Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays, totalling 39 hours per week.

It starts paying £11.50 per hour.
