I’m looking for an Operations Finance Business Partner who’s ready to dive into the world of numbers and uncover financial trends If you have a knack for uncovering financial insights and enjoy challenging colleagues to control costs and drive the business forward, keep reading! Location: Northampton and Corby (Hybrid Role, 2-3 days onsite per week) Your Mission: As an Operations Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in analysing financial data, creating insightful reports, and collaborating with operational teams to achieve business goals. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct deep financial analysis to unearth crucial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and emerging trends. Prepare and dazzle the team with the Operations Reporting pack, a monthly highlight at team meetings and Integrated Business Performance (IBP) sessions. Keep a watchful eye on operations and CAPEX trackers, showcasing project costs, status, and deliveries. Expertly manage the Capital Management System (CMS), ensuring the timely submission of leases. Be the numbers whiz behind group procurement and logistics opportunity, GHG, and carbon reporting. Take the reins on energy reporting, understanding what drives variances from the plan. Own the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) model, keeping it up-to-date, reviewing, and reporting regularly. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate closely with operational teams to craft, monitor, and oversee departmental budgets. Play a key role in creating precise financial forecasts, leveraging operational insights. Lead the charge in forecasting CAPEX, working hand-in-hand with operations teams and the Head of Finance, Projects. Take the lead in group reporting for operational budgeting and forecasting for Manufacturing. Shine as the finance lead for logistics volumes, production volumes, and overhead allocation. Finance Business Partnering and strategic planning. Provide financial guidance and support for decision-making within operational teams. Become an integrated, integral, and trusted partner of the operational and supply chain teams through regular in-person meetings and weekly office attendance. Work closely with leaders to align financial plans with organisational goals and strategy Requirements: Fully qualified accountant: CIMA, ACCA or ACA 2-3 years work experience as a Financial Analyst or Financial Business Partner Manufacturing industry experience a plus, but not essential Why apply: Opportunity to “rip up and re-write” financial processes and ways of working.
