Colchester United are seeking an Operations/Facility Manager who will be based at their training ground in Tiptree, Essex. Their training ground, which is known as Florence Park, is an excellent facility and it hosts Colchester s First team, their EPPP category 2 academy teams (which range from under 9 s to under 23s) and a local community club whose senior teams play their matches at the facility on a Saturday.
There is no such thing as a normal day at Florence Park so this role can be very demanding. Therefore the successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with strong commercial and financial awareness. They must also be a strong character who is prepared to go the extra mile and work unsociable hours if the need arises.
The club also has other ancillary facilities in Tiptree and at Maldon which will also fall under the Operations/Facility Manager s responsibilities.
