We are seeking an experienced Operations Leader who is responsible for all activities on the night shift. Alongside production areas, you will lead a wide range of functions, including logistics, maintenance, and quality. Through your teams, you are responsible for integrating their activities to deliver on time every time to the right quality and cost. This is a significant leadership role that requires a wide range of skills to deliver and drive lean improvements through great engagement with our talented people.

Leading a team of talented individuals, you will:

• Communicate, lead, and inspire inline with the Brose FIRST Principles so that our teams can achieve their full potential.
• Deliver the customer requirement through engagement across the matrix organization and teams.
• Ensuring that safety and quality is at the heart of the way we operate, and that the importance of compliance, as well as assessing and managing risk is reflected in how we work at all times.
• Embracing Lean leadership behaviors to drive day-to day improvement activity like 5S and longer-term lean projects to enable continuous improvement in performance and the way we operate. Encouraging participation in our employee recognition and IDEAs schemes.
• Working in multiple areas with different teams to communicate and deliver cross functional KPI-s for the Plant.
• Working knowledge and experience of SAP is required.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in leading teams in a manufacturing / JIT environment. We do not believe that this position would suit someone stepping into Leadership for the first time.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to work well with employees at different levels, leading cross-functional teams and possesses the ability to make sound business decisions and escalate issues as required.
• Strong, demonstrable people management experience, that is employee centric in approach and someone who possess the passion to achieve through sustaining trusted and open relationships.
• Experience delivering improved manufacturing performance in both favorable and unfavorable conditions, utilizing cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrating ability to respond at pace, to changing demands through robust planning, teamwork and collaboration.
