We are currently recruiting for a Night Cleaning Supervisor to work in Central London. The Cleaning Supervisor will be a working supervisor and when required will be expected to undertake cleaning duties. Shifts: Nights – 4 on 4 off – 20:00 – 08:00 Salary 25k- 28k Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: The supervision of all cleaning staff focussing on their performance, quality of work and meeting the required standards Ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the buildings with any issues being dealt with efficiently and in a professional and timely manner Monitoring of all cleaning activities across the W1 complex. The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures To always ensure sufficient resource coverage across all sites Have contact with site customers as and when required Monitor cleaning staff to ensure they understand and work to the tasks and schedules in place. Report any maintenance issues to the Helpdesk for example blockages, lights out, broken toilets etc. Respond to any urgent or emergency calls as required Ensure the effective and safe use of equipment and materials carrying out physical training when required to staff Ensure that machinery, equipment, and cleaning cupboards are kept in a clean and tidy state Monitor the suitability and performance of all items of cleaning equipment and advise the Senior Cleaning Manager where these items are considered inappropriate to the task. Review work schedules with the Senior Cleaning Manager when required Ordering of cleaning materials. Ensure that adequate supplies of cleaning consumables and materials are ordered or requested accordingly and that appropriate stock levels are maintained within the budget allocated. Ensure that cleaning consumables and materials are properly and safely used and stored. Maintain an accurate and up to date inventory of cleaning stocks Take ownership of Health & Safety for yourself and others at work. Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are always followed and encourage safe working practices Carry out Tool Box Talks with the cleaning team when required Use online QSHE system to log hazards/near misses and report incidents escalate to management team where required To carry out administrative tasks, including but not limited to; ensuring online payroll/time-keeping system is up to date and any arbitrations are resolved. Pay queries are managed correctly. Stock control, completion of time sheets and return to work interviews. Performance related meetings Deputise as necessary for the Senior Cleaning Manager when required. Person Specification (Experience/Qualifications/Skills) Have previous supervisory experience Previous cleaning experience is essential Proven experience within customer service environment
