• A competitive base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000

• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm , and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
We’ll equip you for success from day one – with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

Where you’ll work
You’ll be part of the Warrington cluster, covering areas like Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Newton le Willows, Leigh, Golborne, Ashton in Makerfield. You’ll be out on the road in your local area, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments – no reactive callouts, just organised, pre booked work where you can focus on doing the job properly.

• You like mixing things up. Every day’s a little different-servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks. But it doesn’t stop there: you’ll manage your stock, do your reporting, and keep those customer conversations flowing.
• You think on your feet. You’ll be trusted to think on your feet and make the right call for each customer. Different fixes, different faces, new challenges every day.

What you’ll need

Either:
NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
or
5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
and
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
