Metartec Ltd is a critical power company responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment. We are growing as a business and are seeking an Electrician to join our team. You will need to be competent to carry out electrical reactive maintenance repairs, fault find, project work and battery installations. The successful person must hold the following qualifications: ECS Gold Card 18th Edition qualified. City and Guild Level 3 or equivalent. City and Guild 2391 Inspection and Testing. NVQ Level 3 Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment or equivalent. Completed AM2/AM2E. A Level 3 qualification in PV Maintenance and/or Installations is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years experience in a commercial technical environment and served an apprenticeship. You must have experience of engaging with customers in a pressured environment, possess a flexible approach and be prepared to travel and hold a full, clean driving licence. You must have a good understanding of Health and Safety at work and be able to work on own supervision as well as in a team. In return, we are offering a basic salary of £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience). The role is based on a 40 hour week. Overtime is as required to meet business needs. You will be required to participate in an out of hours emergency call-out system on a rota basis and will receive an additional payment when on call.
