Electronics Manufacturing Engineer PCB AssemblyOur client is looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join their very successful business. Role: Manufacturing Engineer – ElectronicsReporting directly to the QA Manager, this role supports numerous daily functions, relating to process control and process engineering.We are seeking an experienced process/QA biased engineer from within the electronics sector. Deep knowledge of either the PCB or PCB assembly/CEM environment and a working knowledge of IPC-610 and/or JSTD-001 standards.Supporting the quality manager and working in conjunction with our production planning department to implement a range of build orders from NPI to series productionDefining process flow and detailed work instructions, through to working with BOMs and associated drawings and dataInterfacing with customers to support production functionsWorking with various technicians to define and set process parameters, conformance and best practices for electronic production from surface mount to finished assembly and testInternal process audits with objective reviewsReporting, monitoring and enhancing process performance against the company KPI’s Support the research and implementation of new manufacturing/process techniques, including capital equipmentSkills RequiredExperience in a quality related environmentPro-active natureKnowledge IPC StandardsExperience of process flow, creating work instructions & relevant documentationAttention to detail, a finisherOrganised and self-disciplinedAble to communicate with staff, customers and suppliersTrack critical tasks, working to defined timelinesA desire to learn new competencies and skillsAdvantageous skills Lean & 6-Sigma experienceCore hoursMon-Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pmFull time, with a degree of reciprocal flexibility is required.BenefitsSalary Range £35-£45KCompany contributed pension schemeGenerous 27 days paid holiday (plus Bank Holidays)Free, secure and ample parking on siteLong service holiday benefitsWorking for a stable and established market leading CEMModern, clean working environment
