MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an experience Management Accountant to join a Sittingbourne based client.

Our client, a market-leading importer and retailer who distribute to a range of blue-chip clients, have been running over 80 years now and have a proven track record of excellent staff retention. This role has become available due to the current post-holder retiring after 9 years with the company, they also have someone in the company who has been there 30 years!

The duties for this ManagementAccountant role will include but not be limited to:

• Sales and purchase ledger
• Cash book
• Bank reconciliations
• Payments processing
• Invoicing Credit control
• VAT reports
• HMRC returns
• Payroll and expenses
• Management reporting
• Producing stock reports on Sage and liaising with customers
• Liaising with warehouse to arrange delivery for stock
• Covering holidays where needed

The successful Management Accountant will ideally have / be:

• Self-motivated individual with good initiative and team player skills
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and administration skills
• Experience working with Sage 50 and Iris PAYE-Master
• Confident with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Candidates from a management accountant, finance manager, bookkeeper background would all be considered.
