Shift Pattern: 42 per week – Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm ( 30 min unpaid lunch break per day). A quick look at the role. To be supervise the maintenance team members. To ensure fault finding and repairs are prioritised and responded to in acceptable time frames. To assist the team to maintain production and ancillary equipment keeping them in optimum condition. Ensure routine maintenance inspections are performed as set out by management and defects are repaired and reported. Why it’s an opportunity not to be wasted. To write SOP’s and R/A’s for maintenance PPMs To ensure the department carry out routine maintenance activities and PPM tasks ensuring equipment performance is maintained and optimised To assist the maintenance team to carry out fault finding and repairs in breakdown situations, using engineering drawings and machine manuals To ensure the department maintain spare parts stores stock levels & records Work alongside external suppliers / contractors Maintain and update maintenance manuals when new or alternative components have replaced those of the original design Any other reasonable request made be managementRequirements Here’s what we require: Maintenance Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) Previous engineering maintenance supervisory role Experience working in a Engineering / Maintenance team Ability to supervise a teamDesriable: IOSH Managing Safely Experience working in a recycling environment Knowledge of the recycling industryBenefits And Here’s why you’ll love it at Biffa.
