Maintenance Engineer – Days

Are you experienced in building services maintenance? Do you have a recognised trades qualification (or equivalent)? Do you want to work in an interesting and creative environment?

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to be a key part of the in-house team. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to buildings and assist with minor project works for the department across our diverse estate portfolio in and around the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out a wide variety of maintenance work to buildings, systems, and assets across the estate
• Attending breakdowns to carry out repairs.
• Modifying existing systems to suit changing requirements.
• Carrying out installations of new systems and equipment
• Carrying out a variety of statutory PPM tasks
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Taking responsibility for tasks from outset to completion

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Able to undertake a variety of maintenance and installation work.
• Multi-disciplined trades and building services experience (including plumbing, electrics, and mechanical engineering)
• A recognised trades qualification or equivalent
• A good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Able to supervise contractors.

This role is a full-time, permanent position, where the hours of working will be 8am to 5pm Mon – Thurs and 8am to 4pm on Friday. Occasional overtime may be required to cover for shift engineers’ holiday or absence. The position is based in Stratford upon Avon.
