Machine Operative or Machine Minder

Insight Employment are seeking Machine Operatives or Machine Minders to work for one of the world’s market leaders in aerosol packaging technology based in Leighton Buzzard.

The Role: –

As a Machine Minder you would be making sure that the machine runs continuously throughout the shift. You will be filling the machine with materials, filling and palletising boxes with finished products as it come off the machine. Sometimes you may be supporting the machine operatives by providing a constant top up of materials, empty boxes and pallets and removing full pallets as necessary from the machine areas.

The environment is clean but can be a little bit noisy due to the manufacturing processes, however they provide you with ear plugs for use in the warehouse.

Requirements: –

• Previous manufacturing or product experience would be a benefit but not essential
• Able to work on your own or as part of a team
• Must be able to work at speed
• Able to stand on your feet during your working time
• Able to work both shifts

Hours/Shift: –

6 days on & 3 days off

06:00 – 14:00 rotating 14:00 – 22:00

Rate: –

£11.71 per hour + an attendance bonus
