INSIDE IR35 Location: Warton, Preston (Hybrid) Duration: Initially 6 Months Contract Rate: £30.47 per hour umbrella Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work within the AIR Asset Management Team, based at Warton but covering multiple sites and storage facilities on a temporary basis (6 months). The successful candidate will be heavily involved with MoD assets, raising requests for new assets and in the return or disposal of MoD assets. The candidate will also be involved in the daily management of logistics and admin tasks associated with asset storage at our two main facilities, issues arising on site or in the supply chain and ensuring our automated asset tracking system is working effectively. Job Description We want someone who has some knowledge of Tooling/Logistics skillsets, and is willing to learn about Customer loaned/funded assets mainly around the processes and standards expected from the MoD customer. The candidate must be willing to learn new skills and be able to work in a variety of locations covering both Manufacturing sites and off-site storage. Additional Information The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following: Requesting, stock checking, transfer and disposal of MoD loaned assets. Carrying out physical asset stock checking/tagging and use of automated hand held stock checking technology. Helping with day-to-day management of storage locations. Key Skills: Good communication skills are required as you will be building relationships and providing support to multiple business areas to help them improve their management of MoD loaned assets. The successful applicant should relish working in a busy and challenging environment. The workload can be extremely varied and requires a wide range of skills and adaptability. The role will give the successful candidate a broad knowledge of the Manufacturing and associated support businesses across Air and a good knowledge of our customers and their expected standards.
