For a growing business, we are now hiring for a qualified Logistics and Production Assistant!

Details of job:

• Days: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
• Two days a week in Brighton, two days a week in London and one day travelling to client sites
• Permanent role
• Salary: £30,000-32,000
• Must be a car owner driver

For this position, you must drive your own car and have a clean driving record. Additionally, you must feel at ease moving between two locations, one in Brighton and the other in London. The company pays for travel expenses to and from the client’s locations and to London.

The role is different because our customer provides corporate clients with space solutions. The ideal applicant would possess both talents in customer service and warehouse/logistics. You will be in charge of organising orders for clients and attending the client’s location for installation and follow-ups after the installation is finished.

Job requirements:

• Logistics and distribution experience
• Excellent communicator and planner
• Skilled at working to budgets and timescales
• Fork lift license (desirable)

About the role:

In the role, you will be reporting to the Head of Operations, you will assist with the daily operation and performance of the warehouse & logistics in order to provide the expected service to our customers.

• Liaise with clients and suppliers
• Spending time on clients sites, overseeing installation, snagging and site revisits for maintenance.
• Retaining and negotiating quotes from suppliers
• Assisting in the warehouse, including: stock takes, unloading deliveries, delivery invoicing
