Providing operational logistics management support to existing and new clients by answering questions, resolving problems, and investigating any issues with conveyance and delivery providers.
Communicating with customers to confirm deliveries, any network issues, expected delivery dates and any other information requested.
Working closely with suppliers to ensure customer expectations are met in terms of quality, service, and timescale.
Support implementation of new suppliers, networks, customer onboarding etc.
Support in preparing reports and business cases.
Undertake data analysis in key areas such as rate card analysis, operational performance, budget and revenue etc.
Support the operational team as necessary to ensure any shipments and despatches are processed in a timely manner and train operational staff as required.
Support in managing and liaison with suppliers.
Proactively identify and implement improvements in procedures and working practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Support in updating supplier communications such as service alerts, operating procedures, and customer onboarding processes.
Competencies/Personal Requirements/Experience
Ability to understand and interrogate data quickly and accurately.
Ability to apply judgment in problem solving.
Excellent communication skills both internally across distances and externally with customers and partners
Self-motivated, working independently as well as part of a team.
Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (training will also be given)
