Hotel Group Finance Manager – 40k to 45k

Client:

Our client is a successful, prestigious and international spanning business which will see you as a Hotel Group Finance Manager overseeing 2 sites, one of which in Solihull and another in Reading. You will be based in the Solihull site with a typical expectation to visit the reading site 1 or 2 times a month.

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s currently or previously worked at or working up to this level within the hotel industry, but also for someone who is working in a similar industry such as hospitality as you’ll be reporting directly to the directors of company, allowing for many opportunities to learn and develop.

Hotel Group Finance Managers tasks:

As a hotel group finance manager within this business, you will play a pivotal role in the overall success of the company as you’ll be responsible for various work flows and people. Your typical task includes the following:

• Providing financial expertise to improve cost efficiency in both sites
• Support in creating and implementing with the business plans
• Create annual budgets
• Perform income Audits
• Cash/Bank reconciliation
• Accounts receivable/payable
• Handle monthly payroll
• Ad hoc tasks necessary in line with business needs

Experience needed to be successful as a Hotel Group Finance Manager:

• Previous experience completing the tasks mentioned above
• Holding or working towards accountancy qualifications (CIMA or ACCA)
• Competent computer user with a strong understanding of MS office (Excel, word, formula’s & PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Opera, Sage, Procure Wizard and Fourth Hospitality software
