You would be joining a leading automation services provider with a reputation for excellence and innovation. They help their customers to automate any manufacturing process, from simple to complex, across a range of sectors. Whether it’s pharmaceutical, energy, aerospace or logistics, they have the expertise and experience to handle it.
You will be looking after a small team of Project Managers to manage the full project life cycle from initial request to the final handover.
You will be responsible for:
You will be instrumental in ensuring your team of Project Managers is specifying and delivering projects to meet customer requirements and expectations. You are slick in planning and controlling milestones, risk management, internal and external reporting, supplier management and quality control. You are a team player who is decisive, adaptable and accountable whilst having a genuine interest in actively developing those who report to you.
You will be able to apply your technical engineering background (think of your previous days as a Controls Systems/Automation Engineer within industrial automation) to ensure your team meet their project deadlines without compromising on the quality of solutions to customers.
This role will require you to work in our Bristol office for three days a week, so you must be willing to relocate or already be within a commutable distance of Bristol.
In summary –
It would further benefit your application if you have experience in managing other Project Managers however this is not essential if you have the summarised above.
