Handyman
We are seeking a highly experienced Handyman for various project/s across multiple sites in Birmingham. Our company has been established for 20 years and still growing. You will be working in a warehouse environment with offices and another site in the hospitality sector. This a varied role for a proactive and dedicated Handyman who enjoys solving problems for their internal clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking all building fabric activities such as repair tasks within the interior and exterior of the building, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting and decorating general maintenance.
Scheduled or reactive work off-site at other company premises.
You will be required to answer queries, report any defects, and keep the Health & Safety Manager informed of site activities.
You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspection reports.
Repairs floor and wall coverings.
Responsible for ceiling tile repairs and replacements.
Responsible for other building and installation works as required.
Complete emergency tasks.
Efficiently identify and report the need for major repairs.
Assess and prioritize repair requests, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Experience:
Experience working within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
Carpentry experience desirable but not essential.
Must have wide practical skill set and strong knowledge in various maintenance and repair areas.
Basic technical knowledge and practical skills for general building maintenance including, basic electrics, light building installation, repair equipment, and appliances.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
Various shifts available
Salary:
£25,000 £28,000
