Who are we:

Celtic Horizons delivers estate services for United Welsh, including gas servicing, grounds maintenance, cleaning, repairs and maintenance. Celtic Horizons was the first wholly owned subsidiary of its kind formed by United Welsh who have entered into a partnership with Mears Group. Celtic Horizons care for over 5000 properties spanning over 11 local authority areas in South Wales.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Ground Maintenance Operative to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a Grounds Maintenance Team. You will be working as part of a team ensuring our clients receive high levels of service and satisfaction. You will be responsible for carrying out the following:

• Clearing Grounds of all litter
• PA1/PA6 Pesticide licence – preferred but not essential
• Willing to work in all weather conditions as you will be working outside
• Cutting of grass and Bushes and if qualified weed spraying and the use of chain saws etc

Role Criteria:

• Previous experience as a Grounds maintenance operative or similar – preferred but not essential
• Ideally previous domestic, social housing experience – preferred but not essential
• Full clean driving licence

As well as the above, to be considered for the role we are also looking for a candidate with excellent time management skills and the ability to co-ordinate with other operatives and contacts, as working as a key member of the Team is essential. You will also have a good understanding for the importance Health & Safety.
