The role of Driver Operative has a competitive pay rate of £13.31 per hour. Other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days of holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).The Main Purpose of Driver Operative:” To work collaboratively and carry out daily work schedules to service standards to achieve high standards and customer satisfaction for street cleansing and grounds maintenance services” Drive any vehicle as instructed and be responsible for the vehicle and associated equipment” Operate management systems to record the progress of work schedules and report reasons for non-completion of work to the line manager” To identify and log issues that are detrimental to the street scene, resolving them where appropriate” Carry out tasks such as street cleaning, emptying litter bins, weed control, and horticultural maintenance, assist in the repair and renovation of features such as goal mouths, overmarking of pitches, removal of graffiti and fly-tipping, grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning and building cleaning, including public conveniences,” Fully support crime and anti-social behaviour initiatives designed to ensure that the parks and green spaces are safe and attractive places to visit, and report incidents of antisocial behaviour and illegal activitiesAs a Driver Operative, you will be required to have:” Knowledge of Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance, or related operations” Experience in operating powered plant and machinery” Experience working outside in Street Cleaning, Grounds Maintenance, or related operations” Possession of a full, clean UK current driving licence with C1+E entitlementAbout us” For almost 60 years, Pertemps Recruitment Partnership has been the market leader in providing permanent and temporary staffing solutions and we are one of the most established players in the recruitment industry.
