Michael Page Logistics are supporting a leading retailer with the recruitment of a General Manager to run a Distribution Centre in Hampshire.

You will take responsibility for one of the best performing sites in the country and will ensure that the site continues to develop and evolve in line with requirements of the business and its customers.

Description

In the role of General Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Leadership and development of the management teams
• Budget creation and allocation, ensuring the profitability of the operation
• Continuous improvement across all areas of the site
• Colleague and customer engagement
• Quality standards, compliance and H&S

Profile

The ideal candidate will have significant operational management at a similar level and within the Retail or Food sector. You will be able to demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional teams and possess strong people management skills with the ability to create a high-performance culture of inclusion and engagement whilst implementing sustainable improvements to drive business performance.
