Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment is currently networking for a Frontline Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a leading provider in cleaning services all over the UK. As Frontline Manager, you will be responsible for motivating, engaging and training cleaning operatives to ensure the provision of safe, clean and hygienic environments for customers. You will also be required to recruit, induct and train cleaning operatives in line with company values. The ideal Frontline Manager will have previous experience in a similar role or environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Know, understand, and live by the Company values and ethos to ensure that this is disseminated throughout the business
Communicate company messaging to frontline employees, keeping them engaged through a variety of methods, and relay any employee feedback through the appropriate channels
Be the first point of contact for employees on a day-to-day basis, dealing with any queries they have such as pay, holiday, sickness, tools and equipment, health, and safety, and conducting regular employee visits and 1-2-1s
Manage frontline employees through a range of employee relations processes such as sickness and absence management, disciplinary and grievance investigations, conflict management and mediation, documenting conversations and escalating to the Service Manager and HR where required
Plan, organise and supervise cleaning operatives and supervisors to ensure working practices are efficient and effective
Ensure that sites are suitably always staffed through effective recruitment and absence cover
Build solid working relationships with employees to motivate them and ensure a high level of morale, ensuring that they understand what is expected of them
Recruit employees to company values, demonstrating them as an employer of choice throughout the recruitment process
Induct, onboard, and develop employees to their job descriptions, ensuring they understand what is expected of them and are given the tools and ability to succeed
Ensure all paperwork is completed for employees to ensure statutory and company requirements are met (including DBS and right to work)
Train cleaning operatives to complete the necessary tasks including in specialist cleaning operations, such as floor maintenance and carpet shampooing
Complete timesheets and payroll information to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
Build strong working relationships with on-site customers to ensure customer satisfaction and contract retention is maximised by effective management of frontline employees, escalating any recommendations or concerns to the Service Manager
Monitor cleaning operations through hygiene and cleaning audits as agreed by your line manager, to ensure standards are meeting the required specification
Ensure service requirements are adhered to by the frontline employees, including the quality of standards produced, company and legislative requirements for Health and Safety, environmental issues and general duty of care
