Pertemps working in partnership with Kuehne + Nagel are recruiting a Front-Line Manager for a contract position until March 2025.

Reporting directly to the Group Warehouse Manager the Front-Line Manager will be responsible for the control and co-ordination of disposals activity across the agreed warehouse scope. To support this, the FLM is responsible for the day-to-day operational area functionality and performance of the Teams, which include Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives/Administrators within the Site.

As Front-Line Manager you will have the following skills:

Essential

• Understanding of warehouse practices e.g., receipting, picking, and loading.
• Strong warehouse system experience.
• Leadership qualities, able to enthuse and motivate.
• Drive, determination and at track record of delivering continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and deal with conflict successfully.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work.
• Experience of working to agreed targets and deadlines.
• Intermediate PC Skills including Excel, Work and Outlook.
• Able to work individually or as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Desirable

• Knowledge and awareness of air worthiness requirements.
• Knowledge and awareness of specialist handling for Engines, major assemblies, and metals.
• Experience within a Civil Service/MOD environment.
• IOSH trained.

Candidates must be able to provide three years referencing contacts, have the right to work in the UK, be prepared to undergo a DBS check and have been resident int the UK consistently for at least 6 years.
