In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of 10 professionals, ensuring the smooth operations of the office while actively contributing to the sales team’s efforts in acquiring and nurturing new business leads.

Responsibilities of Freight General Manager:

• Provide exceptional customer service to key clients and ensure the delivery of high-quality service to all customers.
• Manage the team, including handling staff holidays, sickness, performance appraisals, and disciplinary procedures.
• Take ownership of the company’s Profit & Loss, providing financial information to the Head Office.
• Drive business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding freight volumes, thereby increasing the office’s turnover.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements of Freight General Manager:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Proven experience in account management and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Hands-on operational experience across multiple modes of transportation.
• Previous experience in overseeing a team of operators, with exceptional people management skills.
