Provide bespoke sign printing fabricating and installation services to a range of industries. Their High Street retail side of the business is in decline, but being buoyed up by work for places like academies, commercial businesses, investment companies, and anywhere where you have a nice sign.

They’re looking for two fitters one senior fitter paying between 32k and 35k and a fitters mate paying between 26k and 29k. Both must have driving licences. There is 1000 pound annual bonus, and approximately £5000 in overtime earnings available. They have a pay care scheme, 22 days holiday plus stats. Approximately 3 nights out a month to cut down on the driving.

The performance criteria for fitter is being able to do the jobs in a safe and efficient fashion, and maintaining good customer relationships. 65% of the businesses work is repeat and they’re looking to grow this. The electrical installation is relatively simple typically wiring up low voltage leads. The mechanical can be somewhat more complicated, and involves working at heights of 12 to 15 metres.The work is varied and can involve different fitting jobs sometimes two to three in a day. Working hours are 07:30 to 1730 with a degree of flexibility as required. It is not as demanding as other roles within the sector. There were relatively few prospects with this role. The business have a good brand, and I will established in their sector. The company is highly profitable for a business with such a low turnover. Key requirements for the job are mechanical fitting and installation skills, whilst IPAF can be trained for the fitters mate they will have to have worked out heights or be supremely confident that they can do this. The lead fitter will almost certainly have IPAF. PASMA or CSCS
