Financial Reporting Accountant

As part of our continued development, we are looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis.

What does the role involve?

• Being the main point of contact internally for the audit process
• Manage the relationship with the external auditors
• Ensure compliance with relevant SOx narratives
• Maintenance of an IFRS ledger – in support of the UK statutory accounts
• Support the wider team in all technical accounting assessments
• Ensure processes are in place to maintain the integrity of the statutory accounts
• Supporting the Financial Controller in managing the external audit relationship and the audit planning process

What skills or experience do I need to do the role?

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified
• Previous practical experience as an auditor
• The ability to influence others – at all levels
• Confidence in managing internal and external stakeholders
• Great communication skills – able to flex your style according to the audience
• Understanding of IFRS’s and their application
