Location: Broughton, Chester Contract type: Full time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £32,500 per annum, 30 days holiday, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits scheme About the Job Unipart provide in-plant logistics for Airbus and we d like you to join us to support the delivery of financial reporting for Airbus, as well as being the point of contact for on-site operational and admin teams queries. As a Finance Assistant you will support the Finance Planner to deliver the outputs required, with your day to day focussed on managing and supporting accurate accrual of costs and weekly reporting and commentary for the Finance Manager. As part of your key responsibilities you ll: Carry out daily and weekly Purchase Order reviews Close out older POs where the requirement is either complete or no longer required Help maintain sign off routes as managers change Review agency invoices against the Time and Attendance system for accuracy Produce weekly finance reports, updating and adding commentary where necessary Review billable activity against underlying effort Support the operations team in developing a resourcing tool that can be used for creating forecasts. Provide support and training in using various finance systems on site to operational teams Review postings to cost centres to ensure cost are in the correct period and cost centre on a monthly basis Raise standard monthly invoices Review headcount reports to ensure that the management structure is correctly allocated across cost centres and agree corrections with HR Adapt as the contract matures to support with increasing the detail of the weekly reporting and support justifying various cost down projects across the site. Expecting the applicant to be AAT Level 3 qualified or equivalent About You We d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you d be able to perform well in this role!
