Job Description

Overall Objective: Support Operations & delivering financial performance in contracts and work with the wider finance team to create a suitable financial control environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Work within the business, attending sites to build effective relationships with our operational teams
• Support regional Operations Teams in delivering financial performance in line with company budgets
• Support client reporting and attend client meetings where appropriate
• Assist with the budgeting process for Operations and help with the identification of actions needed to deliver
• Support Operations Directors in the monthly trading process
• Support the regional month end process, reviewing proposed adjustments and supporting billing queries & Internal Management Reporting
• Support Company wide projects and improvement plans
• Initial investment appraisal with sales and/or operations in the bid process of new business and retention deals
• Requirement to visit sites approx. 1 day per week.

Qualifications

• Studying ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Previous experience of Data Warehouse and Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Previous experience in working in a service company
• Experience of managing both the balance sheet and P&L of a business
• Passion for Delivering Improvement
• Demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
