Sulzer Pumps UK in Leeds is a top employer and one of the world s leading pump manufacturers, Sulzer provides a wide range of products for pumping solutions for water, oil and gas, power, and chemicals industries.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Facilities Manager to join and strengthen our team. This is a great opportunity for you to manage and ensure all operations are completed in a timely manner at our site in Leeds. Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsible for all matters relating to Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental issues, systems & procedures
• Ensure compliance & conformance with corporate directives & local legislation
• Custodian of the site layout, maintain up to date reviews for all aspects of layout, Buildings, Road Layout, Machinery and Equipment, Drainage, Services etc.
• Manage the building maintenance including machinery and equipment maintenance for the Leeds site, ensuring statutory compliance
• Overseeing and being responsible for new build projects and engage with contractors
• Manage our Canteen contract, Cleaning, Security & Reception

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM)
• NEBOSH or equivalent qualified
• CDM
• Management of a CAFAM system
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
• Project management skills
• Proven experience as Facilities Manager or relevant position
• Team working skills
• Organisation skills
• Ability to act independently
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
• Attention to detail
